- The Gujinggong Chiew Ancient 5 is powerful and fruity with notes of tea and a distinctive savoury style. It is classified as a ‘mixed’ baijiu from the ‘strong sauce’ variety – thanks to the classic soy flavours that come through. It is one of the stronger baijius from distillers Gujing Gong, and is loved for its powerful lingering aftertaste.
- The well-known Guijinggong distillery makes baijiu distilled from a well in Bozhou, which dates back to the Ming Dynasty.
- Nose (Aroma):Initial impression: Strong, rich, and slightly pungent, characteristic of well-aged Baijiu.Aromatic profile:Fruity – ripe tropical fruit, especially pineapple and banana.Floral – hints of orchid and light herbal undertones.Savory – subtle notes of soy sauce and fermented grains.
